Six months and counting

August 1st, 2007

Today (1/8/07) marks my six months of being self employed. I cannot believe how quickly, or how well it has gone. I would like to say a big thanks to all those who have given me work in that time – and all those who have been such a great help.

Working for myself has far exceeded my expectations, and I am really enjoying it. At this point I am not quite sure what my plans are for next year. The next six months I hope will continue in the same vein, and hopefully by the end of January 08 I will have moved home/office and be in a position to really plan the next steps. I hope that means bringing another pair of hands on board, but time will tell.

This week has seen me doing my first pieces of work for The Camber Group who are based in Clapham. It’s great to work with some different people and these guys are stacked out, very busy and producing some excellent work. I hope I can help them on a number of their forthcoming projects. More on what I have been doing for them when I can tell you.

It looks like I have won two other projects myself in the last week too. One we are just dotting the ‘i’s and crossing the ‘t’s, but its almost in the bag.

Hopefully by the end of this week I will have completed the gallery website I have been working on for my friend Peter Cameron too, as soon as it’s ready there will be a link available.

My old Boss (ADC, LookInteractive) Bob Searles also got in touch on Monday, looks like there is some work to crack on with there. Anyway must go, more work for the Camber boys to do today. More news soon, bye!

OH BTW, weigh in 13 stone 5 1/2…. not alot of progress, I have to start making time to exercise more before football begins again… bye
