this week was interesting. I made my first visit to Scotland (sad at 33). I was fortunate enough to go along with Corporate Edge’s web team for a wash up meeting for the completion of the strathclyde university website.
It was a nice opportunity to see Glasgow city centre, and I also sampled haggis for the first time – fantastic.
The good news is that the project went really well and Strathy were really happy with all the CSS work that I undertook.
The rest of this week was taken up with me finally getting my stationery printed (big thanks to Greame and Neil for helping me out on this, lunch is coming soon). This means I can finally get some letters out to people, I hope to get on with this in the next week or so, just as soon as I can find time to finish my website. I have actually decided to do a v1.1, without full case studies on projects that I would like to showcase yet.
With all the projects going on at the moment I just don’t have time. Still the v1.1 site will be up in the ten days.
In terms of what is stopping me from completing my own website, I’ve been working on design templates for two e-commerce sites, a chunk of CSS work for a website that didn’t work on IE7, along with all the work going on at Corporate Edge.
This includes template build for a soon to be launched microsite. This microsite consists of about 15 templates that all need building by end of play Wednesday. I have my work cut out.
Away from the screen we drew 0-0 yesterday. Another poor display from all the lads really, but at least we didnt lose this week. I can’t believe its the same side I was playing in in October and November. We were on fire back then, now we are just treading water. Still keeps us off the streets.
Well feeling pretty tired now so I’m going to sign off. Here’s hoping I will have the website up for next weekend, but I fear it may take a few more days still.
